I bought an Italian sim card which despite specifying a delivery date 1 week prior to departure only arrived the day before we flew out. The sim card did not work and after a number of emails back and forth where I was giving unreasonable requests like to try the sim in an alternate device (which I did not have), I followed the instructions and returned the sim card. After chasing them up upon my return, I’ve been advised that they never received the sim card. Prepaidzero confirmed that my card was never activated or used, but has refused any refund without the sim card.

Terrible

You are explicitly asking you customers not to activate it longer than 24 hour before using it. That’s what I did and the result was that the card did not work the first two days.

As a “mobile phone” company the customer service should be available 24/7. But I faced the issue that I requested SIM card activation on Friday afternoon and then was cut off abroad the whole weekend because the card was activated only on Monday. This generated unwanted additonal cost for roaming with my primary SIM card. Which I actually wanted to avoid by purchasing the prepaidzero SIM card!

I was very happy with Prepaidzero. The sim card arrived on time with clear instructions and there were no problems during the whole trip.
